Veo vs. XbotGo
You can't understand the game by only looking at the ball. Veo records every player for the whole match and turns it into analysis the whole team can use.
Why coaches choose Veo over XbotGo
A goal often starts far from the ball, with a run that pulls a defender out of the line or a midfielder checking their shoulder before the pass. XbotGo follows the ball, so those moments never make it into the recording. Veo films every player from kick-off to the final whistle, then tracks them, tags the events and turns the match into stats you can coach from.
Veo Cam 3 compared with XbotGo Falcon
Veo Cam 3 is built for every level, every sport and every kind of weather. Paired with Veo Editor and a decade of AI training, it gives coaches what they need to record, analyse and share the match in one place. XbotGo Falcon is XbotGo's standalone camera. From the pitch to the platform, this is how the two compare.
The full cost of a season
XbotGo is a one-off purchase with no subscription for recording, tracking and streaming, which makes it cheaper up front. The extra costs come later, when you want to store a season of matches or get match stats. With Veo, one subscription covers the whole team and the coaching platform, so coaches, players and parents all get full access to every match. All Veo prices exclude VAT and tax.
Coaches, players and parents get access at no extra per-user cost
A 90-minute match in 4K is about 24 GB at XbotGo's own bitrate, so the free allowance holds one or two matches. More space means a paid Cloud+ plan

Veo Go from $469 a year (about $39 a month)(tripod and phone holder included with 12-month plans and longer)

Set it up. Press record. That's it.
Veo Cam 3 is ready to roll in no time.
Set up your tripod for the best view of the match, mount Veo Cam 3, raise it to the sky and press record. There are no zones to map, no camera angle to set and no player to lock onto before kick-off, because Veo sees the whole pitch from the start. The setup is the same for football, rugby, hockey or any team sport.
Veo detects shirt numbers automatically, so every player on the team can build a personal highlight reel. Our AI has been trained on more than 7 million matches over a decade, giving Veo a tracking accuracy newer systems are still catching up to.
Record, analyse and share in one place
Every match lands in Veo Editor within a couple of hours of the final whistle, processed automatically and ready for coaching.
Inside Veo Editor
Veo records your matches, breaks down the action with AI, and gives every coach, player and parent on the team access to all of it. Analyse, edit and share straight from the match.
Analysis of every player, including the ones away from the ball
Veo Analytics 2 turns every recording into team stats, player stats and physical data, and every number links to the clip it came from. Veo films the whole pitch, so every player is tracked from kick-off to the final whistle, including the ones far from the ball. A camera that follows the ball can't measure players it never filmed.
Review the match in 15 minutes. Team and player data sit on a single page, and you can tap any stat to see the clip behind it.
Heat maps, shot maps, pass maps, passing networks and a 2D radar of player positions, all clickable to video.
Every player's speed and distance shown on the footage, with no GPS vests to hand out or charge.
Ask about the match in plain language and get answers grounded in the data.
Track progression across the season and compare matches or teams side by side.
XbotGo sells match analysis one match at a time through Pro Soccer, at $23.99 per match at standard price, with results within 24 hours. The report covers team stats and highlights. Analytics 2 analyses every match you record with no per-match fee, every player sees their own numbers in the Veo app, and the data builds up across the season.
“You can see if the buildup patterns that you're trying to train actually come to life throughout the game.”
Analytics 2 is available for football for now. XbotGo Pro Soccer is also football only.
Every match, on your phone
Veo Go runs on two iPhones you already own. Together they cover the whole pitch, and every family on the team gets the full match on the same Veo software. You get automatic highlights, follow-cam and one-tap sharing wherever you are, so when you can't make the match, you still see it.
Your season, in one link
Your best work might happen off the ball. Veo sees that too. Every player gets a free, shareable Player Profile where they can add highlights and show what they can do on the pitch. The profile pulls from every recorded match a player appears in, across every sport they play, so coaches and scouts see the full picture in one link. XbotGo has no equivalent profile.

FAQs
Veo Cam 3 is the most widely used football camera system at club level, with more than 100,000 teams recording with Veo in over 180 countries. It records the full pitch at all times, generates a tracked follow-cam view after upload, sets up in under 2 minutes and needs no operator.
For recording, tracking and livestreaming, yes. Match stats are sold per match through XbotGo Pro Soccer, and storage beyond the free allowance is a paid Cloud+ plan. Veo includes the coaching platform, sharing and team access in one subscription, with Analytics 2 and Live as optional add-ons.
A tracking camera such as XbotGo moves to follow the ball, so the recording only holds what the camera was pointed at. A full-pitch camera such as Veo records the whole field at once and builds the follow-cam view afterwards. Coaches can then leave the follow-cam and look at any part of the pitch, including players away from the ball.
XbotGo records the match and creates automatic highlights. Match stats cost extra per match through XbotGo Pro Soccer, and they can only cover what the camera was pointed at. Veo tracks every player on the pitch for the whole match, so the analysis includes the players away from the ball.
If you want to film your own child on a tight budget, XbotGo Chameleon with your own phone is a low-cost way to do it. If the team wants every family to have the full match, Veo Go covers the whole pitch with two iPhones and gives everyone on the team access.
Both use the same wide-angle recording approach and the same Veo platform. Veo Cam 3 is a standalone device that runs independently of a phone. Veo Go uses compatible iPhones mounted on a tripod. The tracking quality and footage output are equivalent. Veo Cam 3 suits clubs filming regularly at the same venue, and Veo Go suits individual coaches and travel programmes that need something portable.
Yes. Veo Cam 3 is used by youth programmes, high school teams and college programmes in the US and internationally. The camera handles the stop-start rhythm of football plays, different field sizes and all weather conditions. A single camera at the 50-yard line covers the complete field for coaching film review without an operator during the game.
